On the search results page, More filters lets you narrow results by mode and band, using the same rules as the main map filters.
The options sit in a collapsible section; once you select something, it stays open after you submit. Filters apply to the main results table and to the per-city tables of repeaters within 50 km.
On the search results page, if you enter a place or city name (e.g. “Hamburg” or “Calgary”), matching cities are resolved from a world cities database.
For each city found, an extra table lists repeaters within 50 km of that city, sorted by distance (closest first). Distance is based on the coordinates stored for each repeater in the database.
There is a search box to the left of the site title. You can also open the search results page directly.
You can search by full callsign (exact match), QTH text, or a frequency in MHz (RX and TX are matched). Results are shown in a table with links to the detail page and the map.
There is now a dedicated detail page for each callsign.
You can open it directly by clicking the callsign link in the map popup.
We only load repeaters that are visible in the current map view. This makes the map much faster.
When you zoom out, we show clusters of repeaters instead of individual markers. This also improves performance.
